Gym

Last month Kerry and Jackson talked about working out at the gym for more than an hour. Kerry went on a side rant about one of her Facebook friends who would post every two minutes talking about going to the gym and feeling good about herself. I couldn't tell if Kerry was ridiculing her or not but maybe annoyed at the fact that her friend kept sharing everything on Facebook. After half an hour of this then they got back on track talking about themselves. I kept thinking, "Good for them for working out!" I think Kerry had to push Jackson for a while to go but they talked about how they both went, and they were proud of each other for actually going.

Next morning, Jackson was drinking a Mountain Dew...

 

Mexican Purse

Oh, the Mexican purse! I haven't actually seen this purse nor have I looked for it. Kerry talked about this purse probably for a straight week - maybe more. I may have done my best to block out what was being said because the details are alluding me but it went basically like this:

Kerry: This is the bag I was talking about before.
Jackson: Whaaaat, girl?! That is insane, do you like it?
Kerry: I love it. The Mexicans really know how to make bags.

But they repeated this conversation with Shonda and kept on talking and talking about the darn Mexican purse. I'm sure the novelty wore off because they've been quiet on that front for a while.

The place where I work is considered one of the best places to work in the city which I live. And I agree! I've only have had a handful of jobs in my short little life but so far, this is my favorite. I work with interesting people - nice people - and appreciate the hard work I see everyone put forth. The company gives us free things, has many events, and host happy hours once a month!

There is something that could make it a downside, depending on how you look at it...and it happens to be in the office behind me. She works in the office behind me. She talks in the office behind me. She usually has 2-4 other people with her conspiring, planning, and talking about...Mexican purses? This will be my story about the office behind me and unfortunately the many conversations I have no choice but to overhear.

For the sake of the anonymity of the persons in this never-ending tale, we will use fake names for all of our characters.

Since I have a strong female lead and apparently Scandal is a good show (I never watched it) her name will be Kerry. Supporting actors include: Shonda (creator of Scandal and Grey's Anatomy), Jackson (Grey's Anatomy character), Carl, and Kenya (just because). I'm sure I will add other characters as they come along.
